Exhausts
All Petrol cars built after 1993 onwards are fitted with catalytic converters as part of the exhaust system.
If your catalytic converter is faulty, symptoms may include lack of power, rattling from under the car, high emissions that are normally picked up on the MOT test. It may also cause the the engine management light to come on.
Similar problems as these may be experienced if the silencers on your car are blocked or are blowing. Problems with exhausts are also normally noticeable by the noise made by the car when there is a problem.
If you think you have a problem with your exhaust, come in and we will examine it free of charge.
